Body Plan:

1. Simple, no organs, few tissues, just hyphae
2. They grow and live within their substrate, secret exoenzymes
3. Very high surface: volume enable them to maximize their food absorption 
4. Production of aerial hyphae for reproduction :  

• Sporangia produce sporangiophores
• Conidia produce conidiophores
• Ascocarps+ basidiocarps produce ascospores + basidiospores
